DAVIS Dorothy Thompson 1917 2004 _ DAVIS _ Dorothy Thompson (nee Ross) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 13, 2004 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Percy Sherwood Davis (July 12, 1977) and predeceased by her sister, Gwen of Kelowna, BC. Sadly missed by daughter, Carol of Saskatoon, SK and son, Ross (Pat) of Penetanguishene, ON; as well as grandchildren, Karen (Albert) Chan of Cochrane, AB and Derek (Jody) Cranna; and great-granddaughter, Maeve of St. Albert, AB. Lovingly remembered by sisters, Margaret Hagglund and Marion (Aime) Moore of Kelowna, BC; and nieces and nephews, Lorraine, Marilyn, Ken, Marjorie, Diana, Linda, Doug and Judy. Mom loved to play golf and was an avid bridge player. During hockey season, her greatest satisfaction was to watch the Oilers win. She was always there for her family and was proud of their accomplishments. Heartfelt thanks are extended to the Edgemont Retirement Residence, especially to Lynda and staff on the 4th Floor for making her home so compassionate and special. Cremation to occur with a Memorial Service to be announced. The family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimers Society in lieu of flowers.
