COLLINS _ Dorothy Dorothy died April 6, 2005 in Portsmouth, England. She is survived by a brother Tony and his wife Rita of Warsash, Southampton and numerous cousins, grandnieces and a great-grandnephew. Dorothy was born in Calgary May 23, 1917 of English immigrant parents Robert and Glennie Collins. The family returned to England when Dorothy was four years old. Dorothy became a nurse and had postings in Ghana (formerly the Gold Coast) and to Singapore with the Soldiers, Sailors and Airmans Families Association (SSAFA), as well as being Superintendent Health Visitor at Brighton. However it was not until she had retired that she visited her birthplace and Canadian cousins in 1984. Donations have been received by the Royal National Life Boat Institution in Dorothy's memory.
