->Carey, DorothyDorothy M. Carey, 89, passed away Saturday, August 13, 2011. Dorothy was a life long resident of New Rochelle, NY and a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Mae Carey, sister, Jean Carey and nephew, Patrick Carey. Dorothy retired from New York University. She was very dedicated and loyal to her family especially her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Survivors include brothers Edward Carey and Wife Barbara and Walter Carey and Wife Maureen, ten nieces and nephews, 15 great nieces & nephews and 6 great, great nieces & nephews. The family would like to thank Bayberry nursing home, New Rochelle, NY for their dedication and wonderful care they provided to Dorothy. The family will receive friends at Lloyd Maxcy Funeral Home, New Rochelle, NY from 5-8 on Tuesday, August 16, 2011. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 10:30am at Blessed Sacrament Church, New Rochelle, NY. Interment will follow at Holy Mount Cemetery, Eastchester NY.
