<!-- FH = The Howze Mortuary -->Dorothy ColemanTravelers RestDorothy "Dot" Coleman, of Travelers Rest, wife of the late Benjamin Guy Coleman, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Oakmont Nursing Home.Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Edward R. and Grace Cooper Belcher. Dot graduated from Travelers Rest High School, Draughn's Business College, and attended on- going learning at Furman University. She was a member and former teacher at Parisview Baptist Church, a former member of the Business and Professional Women's Club, and the American Business Women's Club. Dot retired from G.P.C. (now Jan-Pac), after 49 1/2 years. After retiring she worked as a receptionist for Senior Action.Her great love and joys on this earth were her Savior Jesus Christ; her daughter: Beverly Pettit and her husband Ronnie; her granddaughter: Leighann Mullinnix and her husband James; great-grandson: Colston James Mullinnix; and special friends: Steve, Judy, and Stephanie Smith, Carroll and Angie Charping.Along with her parents she was predeceased by three brothers: Lloyd, Doyle, and Harry Belcher.The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at The Howze Mortuary.Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. at Parisview Baptist Church, with a private burial.The family will be at 19 Wardview Ave. Greenville, SC 29617.Memorials may be made to Parisview Baptist Church, 3700 Buncombe Rd.
