OBITUARY DOROTHY BEATRICE ELDER (nee DOWNEY) 1922 - 2011 Born in Hearts Content, Newfoundland, January 15, 1922. Passed away Dorothy Beatrice Elder (nee Downey) in Montreal, on her eighty-ninth birthday January 15, 2011. It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Profoundly missed by son, Bobby (Maria-Anna) Elder; daughter, Anne (Serge) Veilleux; grandchildren, Vanessa (Grant) Luxford, Genevieve Veilleux, Robert (Lydia) Elder, brother Jim (Laura) Downey, sister Edwina (Wilf) Giles, Margaret (Eric predeceased) Richards, their families, and many lifelong friends. Predeceased by her devoted husband, Robert Malcolm, sisters, Victoria (Frank) Cole, Annie (Alec) Stacey, former daughter-in-law, Sheila Ramage. A celebration of her life will be scheduled for April.
