GARDEN GROVE, Calif. -- Dorothy B. Mack, 89, passed away quietly after a lengthy illness on Sept. 5, 2011. She was born March 23, 1922, the daughter of Beatrice D. Hart and Theodore H. Mathieu.She was predeceased by her husband, Andrew Mack in July 1985.She is survived by two loving sons, Gary and Wayne Mack; a brother, Ted Mathieu; a sister, Leonita Lefebvre; 19 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.Dorothy was a graduate of Skowhegan High School.She enjoyed reading, painting, knitting and entertaining her family for holidays.She was employed for several years as a dental assistant, managing several dentists and employees in Long Beach, Calif.Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, at All Souls Mortuary in Long Beach. Burial will occur in All Souls Cemetery.
