DOROTHY A. CARTER FORMERLY OF PORTAGE, IN Dorothy Ann (Keilman) Carter , 83, a resident of Plymouth since 1976 coming from Portage, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2010. Born in Merrillville on December 1, 1926, she was the daughter of Henry M. and Anna (Labb) Keilman. Dorothy graduated from Merrillville High School in 1944. On May 30, 1950 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Merrillville, she married George A. Carter. Survivors include children: Marianne T. Brown of South Haven, MI, Colleen F. (Stephen) Lindesy and Dennis M. (Mary) Carter of Plymouth, IN, John A. (Kathleen) Carter of North Liberty, IN, Josephine Taylor of Rochester, IN and Andrew G. (Sue) Carter of Dayton, OH. Also surviving are two sisters: Mary Margaret Antczak of Crown Point and Ruth Kacmar of Portage. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband; sisters: Helen Mattes and Rita Mann; and brothers: Jerome, Thomas and John Keilman.
