Dorothy Anderson, 79, Bradenton, died May 28, 2004, at Blake Medical Center. She was born Nov. 2, 1924, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and came to Bradenton in 1996 from Farmingdale, N.Y. She retired as payroll administrator for United Cerebral Palsy in Farmingdale. She was a Kiwanette in Farmingdale and volunteered at Blake Medical Center. She was a member of St. Killian Catholic Church in Farmingdale. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, James; a daughter, Nancy Robords of Tampa; sons James of Omaha, Neb., and Kenneth of Charleston, R.I.; and four grandchildren. A memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. June 8 at Saints Peter and Paul the Apostles Catholic Church. A celebration of life service will be later at 7:45 p.m. at Holmes Beach. National Cremation Society, Sarasota chapter, is in charge.
