DREGER Dorothy Agnes (formerly Rudy, nee Owen) January 30, 1935 - April 15, 2006 The children of Dorothy Dreger (Jim, Greg, and Leah) have sad and regrettable news: Dorothy passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on April 15, 2006. Nothing in the world prepares you for this type of shock and despair. We can only be thankful that her passing was peaceful, and that the family was given an opportunity to say our last goodbyes. A special thanks to the staff at the Rockyview Hospital, whose support and kindness helped us through a very trying time. An open house memorial will be held at her home in Red Deer (5712 - 60 Avenue) on Saturday, May 13. Guests are welcome to drop in any time between noon and 6:00 p.m. Food will be provided, and guests are encouraged to bring photographs and other memorabilia to reminisce and celebrate her life. Dorothy was working on her memoirs and she would have loved for guests to provide the final chapter, with their own recollections and stories. Please contact us via email at dot.memorial@yahoo.ca to convey condolences or memoir contributions. You may also share your condolences online at www.remembering.canada.com . Dorothy was a real "nature nut" and if a donation is desired, the World Wildlife Fund or similar charity would be a great choice.
