ANDERSON, Dorothy (Dee) Muriel February 4, 1931 – December 7, 2014Dee, much loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on December 7th, 2014 at Stittsville Villa. Dee leaves behind her devoted children David (Lita), Lois (Greg Wyman) and Susie (Damian Hanel) by her marriage to David Gillespie Anderson Lt. Col (Ret), British Army (Deceased). Loving Grandmother to Shadine (Kevin Robinson), Holly (Chris Leroux), Andrew, Lee, Aislyn, Timothy, Nicholas, Tyler and Victoria and Great-grandmother to Kayleigh-Daisy and Piper-Lily. Dee was born in England and came to Canada in 1974 eventually becoming a proud Canadian Citizen. She worked in the Federal government until her retirement. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Stittsville Villa for their kind and gentle care. A Celebration of Dee's life will be held at the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa, on Monday December 15th, 2014 at 11 am followed by a Reception. Private cremation and burial to be carried out under the warmth of the sun in the Spring.
