->Morrison, Dorothy A.Binghamton: Dorothy A. Morrison, 89, of Binghamton, went to be with the Lord on November 10, 2011 surrounded by her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Thomas. Also surviving are their four children, Thomas and Rena Morrison, Jr., Massachusetts, Terry Morrison, Susan Morrison, and Michael Morrison, all of Binghamton; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; one sister, Iva Margets, Arizona; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Dorothy Ann Morrison. Dorothy was very active in leading Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Boulevard Methodist Church. She operated a green house and decorated cakes in her home. Dorothy was a collector of dolls and loved her cats. Dorothy's favorite saying: "I asked for a cup of water, and he gave me an ocean to sail through life; I asked for a flower and he gave me a garden of memories; I asked for a tree to shade me from the troubles of life, and he gave me a forest; I asked for a friend, and over the years I've had many, many, and now my cup runneth over." A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 14, 2011 at the Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, PA. Interment will be made in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. Should friends so desire, expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to the Boulevard Methodist Church, 113 Grand Blvd., Binghamton, NY 13905.
