AUBURN Dorothy A (Madden) McGhee, 69, of Auburn and formerly of Natick, died Saturday, May 17, 2008, at St Vincent Hospital in Worcester. A Natick resident for more than 30 years, she was born in Boston, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Flaherty) Madden. Successful in the mortgage industry for many years at Chase Manhattan Bank, her true passion was the time spent with her family. Her greatest accomplishment was the strength, wisdom and beauty as a mother and filling the hearts of all her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling with her sisters, cooking, gathering new recipes, shopping on the Cape with her daughters, laughing and talking sports with her sons. Dorothy is survived by her six loving children, Michael McGhee of Plymouth, Mary Myrick of East Sandwich, Richard McGhee of Paxton, Julie Prigmore of Sutton, Brian McGhee of Auburn and Tammy Whidden of Sutton, and their father, John B McGhee; her brothers and sisters, Thomas Madden of Natick, Catherine Fitzgibbons of California, Joan Rigueiro of Wayland, Patricia Azcarte of California; 14 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Mary Mullaney, Helen Baldini and John Madden. A funeral Mass will be offered Wednesday at 9 a.m. in St. Linus Church Natick. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. Visiting hours at John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park St. at Natick Common, are Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association, 330 Congress St. Boston, MA 02210.
