->Dorothy A. FullerPOUGHKEEPSIE - Dorothy A. Fuller, 98 years old, a longtime resident of Poughkeepsie, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2011 in Mystic, CT. She was born on April 15, 1912 in Milan, NY, to the late George and Grace Ackerman Stockholm. On May 9, 1934, in Chicogo, IL. she married the late Walter Lee Fuller. Mr. Fuller passed in September of 1971. Dorothy was a member of the Poughkeepsie United Methodist Church. She was active in the IBM Country Club. She was a homemaker and was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time in the Adirondacks and nature. Dorothy was very caring and had a great love for her family. She is survived by her daughter, Marjorie and her husband Karl Vucich of Mystic, CT.; grandchildren, Virginia Peddicord, Pamela Groh and Karl Walter Vucich; great grandchildren, Katherine Peddicord, Carolyn Peddicord, Leah Groh, Daniel Groh ,Sofia Vucich and Daniella Goldberg and sister, Gladys Bristor. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 from 9 to 10am with the funeral service beginning 10 am at Parmele-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 110 Fulton Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made in Dorothy's memory to the Poughkeepsie United Methodist Church, 2381 New Hackensack Rd., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603.
