STEWART _ Dorothea Charlotte Elizabeth, known as Betty to her family, passed away May 20, 2007 in West Vancouver. Born in Montreal, May 3, 1921, she had a successful career with Sun Life and after retirement moved her mother, her Westie, Kiltie and herself to Vancouver to be closer to her two brothers. In Vancouver Dorothea made firm friends and became deeply involved in the community of St. Agnes which supported her throughout her last years. Last of the family's generation, she is survived by her niece Lynne Gladstone, and nephews Jamie, Robin and Christopher Stewart and their families. Service to be held on Monday, May 28th at 2:00pm at St. Agnes Anglican Church, 530 E. 12th St, North Vancouver. In lieu of fIowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in recognition of her own courageous and winning fight with cancer.
