WALKER, Doris (nee Wightman)1922 - 2016It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Doris on Monday, September 19, 2016. Beloved wife of 67 years to Fred Walker. Dear mother to Jim (Muriel) and Linda (Peter). Loving grandmother to Jordan, Troy, Gillian, Karen, Brett and Kevin. Also survived by her brother George; her sister Betty; her nieces Donna, Carol and Jennifer; her nephews Bob and Peter; and 8 great- grandchildren. Visitation to be held at the Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, 222 autoroute 20, Pointe-Claire, Quebec on October 14, 2016, commencing at 11:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at noon. Interment at the National Field of Honour, 703 Donegani, Pointe-Claire to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Doris'' memory made to Valois United Church, 70 Belmont Ave, Pointe-Claire, Quebec, H9R 2N5, would be gratefully acknowledged. The family would like to thank the staff of the intensive care unit at the Lakeshore General Hospital for their kindness and compassion.
