STEWART, Doris Marion1924 - 2012Doris Marion Stewart (nee Falconar) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 following a brief illness. Doris was born in Valhalla, Alberta, near Grande Prairie, on January 26, 1924. She lived on a farm and in Grande Prairie until her early teens. Then she spent the rest of her life in the Vancouver area. Doris is survived by her sons Daryl (Cathy) and Monte (Alana), along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband John Alexander (Scoop) Stewart, her sister Sheila Jeffers of Calgary and her brother Keith Falconar of Burnaby. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at St. Thomas Anglican Church, 2444 E. 41st Ave., Vancouver, B.C. (Parking available on St. Margarets Street. The church is walker-and-wheelchair-accessible.) In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
