Doris St. Hilaire, 86 OLD ORCHARD BEACH - Doris St. Hilaire, 86, of Old Orchard Beach, passed away on May 8, 2009 at the Kennebunk Nursing Center in Kennebunk. Doris was born in Boston, Mass. on Oct. 18, 1922. She was raised in Old Orchard Beach by her aunt and uncle Harry and Agnes Tarr and graduated from Old Orchard Beach high school. She was employed as a secretary with Allied Hamshire and Saco Tanning and later Astro Waste of Old Orchard. Doris Loved animals and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grand children. She was predeceased by her husband Armand 'Blacky' St. Hilaire in December 1982. She is survived by her sons, Paul St. Hilaire and his wife Carolyn of Biddeford and Arthur 'Archie' St. Hilaire and his wife Sheila of Saco, and one daughter, Michelle Morin of Old Orchard Beach; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Kennebunk Nursing Center for their wonderful care and compassion for Doris during her stay with them. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Cote Funeral Home, the corner of Beach and James Streets, Saco. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. at St. Margaret's Church in Old Orchard Beach. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cote Funeral Home, Saco.
