Services for Doris Cole Patterson 89 will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church in Pontotoc MS Burial will follow in the Pontotoc Cemetery. Mrs. Patterson a retired home demonstration agent and high school home economics teacher died Sunday at VanAyer Manor Nursing Home in Martin of heart disease. She was preceded in death by her husband James Russell Patterson; and a sister Sarah Cole Webb. She is survived by a sister Ruby Cole Barton of Martin; and a brother M.M. Cole of Gainesville Fla.
