Doris M. (O'Neill) Millerof Punta Gorda, Fla.Doris M. (O'Neill) Miller, 74, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away on April 26, 2006 after a short illness. Doris was born in Jamaica, N.Y., on October 13, 1931. She was predeceased by her second husband, Raymond "Dusty" Miller; and her parents, John Wood and Mathilde Algios; and her sister, Carol Clark. She is survived by her children, Gary and Karen O'Neill, Kevin O'Neill and Laura Muscatello, John and Suzanne O'Neill, Eileen O'Neill and Ed Komor, all of Binghamton, Julianne and Robert Cusmano, Deerfield Beach, Fla., Timothy and Elizabeth O'Neill, Binghamton; 13 grandchildren, Mary O'Neill, Jennifer and Ron King, Kelly and Kevin Twitchell, William and Cristie O'Neill, Sara O'Neill, Matthew O'Neill, Amy Polhamus, Sarah Kupkovich, Robert Cusmano, Joseph Cusmano, Devin O'Neill, Brianna O'Neill, Kyle O'Neill; four great-grandsons, Hunter and Hayden King, Nathan and Kaleb Twitchell; her sisters, Joan Chelune and Muriel Horan; several nieces, nephews and many friends. She is also survived by her loving companion, Tony Guastella. Doris lived in Binghamton before relocating with Dusty to Florida in 1985. Doris loved to golf and the outdoors, especially Tony's flowers. She and Tony were lucky enough to be able to spend the last six years traveling to Italy, Hawaii, Alaska, and several cruises. She loved their time together. Doris had a great sense of humor, even when times were tough, making it easier on those around her. She will be greatly missed.Funeral Services will be held at the J.A. McCormack Sons Funeral Home, 141 Main Street, Binghamton, Sunday at 4 p.m. Rev. Gerald J. Buckley, will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. The family will receive friends at the McCormack Funeral Home, Sunday from 1-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Doris may be made to Tidewell Hospice, 1144 Veronica St., Port Charlotte, Fla. 33952.
