ObituaryDoris M. Anderson, 83, of South Fort Myers, died June 17, 2005. She was born in Minnesota and moved to Fort Myers in 1960. Doris served as a Lt. Colonel of the Civil Air Patrol and held several positions for the State Chapter of POW's as well as Treasurer of the American Ex-POW Chapter 100.She was preceded in death by Ret. Lt. Col. Alton Donald Anderson (1994). Survivors include her daughter Grace Bailey (Steve), son William A. Anderson; 5 grandchildren, Sharon, Roland, Dawn, Terrance and Amanda; four great-grandchildren; Aaron, Ian, Meliza and Maria. She will be missed by many friends as well as the bowling team she had sponsored for the past 3 years "MOM'S GIRLS" ~ Sherry, Grace, Fran, Barbara, Colleen and Paula.A memorial service will be conducted Thursday, October 13, 2005 at 5:30 PM at Villas Wesleyan Church, 94700 Beacon Manor Blvd., Fort Myers, FL.
