Born in Greer, she was the loving wife of David Oneal Johnson for 52 years and a daughter of the late Claude and Geneva Brannon.She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church in Mauldin for over 45 years where she served as a Sunday School teacher, played in the hand bell choir, and sang in the adult choir.Surviving are her husband, David Oneal Johnson; a daughter, Lisa Johnson of Greenville; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Marcia Johnson of Simpsonville; two grandsons, Bradley and Brannon Johnson; two sisters, Lottie Jo Green and Annie Ruth Harvey, both of Greer; and many loved nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Alan Brannon of Inman.Funeral services to honor her life will be held Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church in Mauldin. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at the church.
