JOHNSON, DORIS JEANETTE, 76, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2010, at the Norton Hosparus Unit. She worked as a marketing specialist for General Electric for 38 years before retiring. Doris was preceded in death by her parents, William and Shelley Brown Laslie; sisters, Verda Gillingwater, Clara Aldridge and Ersie Pyle; and brothers, Leonard and Ervin Laslie. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, James E Johnson; her son, Gary E. Johnson (Nancy); niece, Loeta Galloway; and nephews, Lowell and Dwight Pyle. Funeral services will be held 7 p.m., Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home, 3800 Bardstown Road. Burial will take place noon Wednesday in Resthaven Cemetery.
