SMITH (Hollingsworth), Doris Irene - Passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital Nursing Home on Tuesday, August 19, 2008. Mrs. Doris Smith of Simcoe in her 89th. year. Daughter of the late John and Matilda Smith and much beloved wife of the late Charles Hollingsworth and the late John Smith. Loving mother of Gerald Hollingsworth and his wife Mary Lynn of Brantford and the late Ernie Hollingsworth, cherished grandmother of Rhonda Linington, Bob Hollingsworth (Karen) and Leslie Morris (Wayne) all of Brantford, great- grandmother of Justin, Ashley, Jaime, Christina, Shannon, Georgia and Evan and mother-in-law of Barbara Hollingsworth and family. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews of the Lockwood Family. Doris was predeceased by her brothers; Reford, Aubrey and Dorrien Smith and sister; Violet Messner. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Monday, August 25, 2008 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. at THE BALDOCK FUNERAL HOME, 96 Norfolk St. N., Simcoe where the funeral will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Pastor Raymond Thompson and Pastor Ron Mullin officiating followed by interment at Port Dover Cemetery.
