Doris Eva Jackson Wilson, 84, Altoona, passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at the Golden Living Center in Oneonta. She was a member of the Robin Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents, Levi Vester and Sarah Frances McCay Jackson; her husband, J.D. Wilson; brothers, Ralph Jackson and Wayne Jackson; and sister, Mildred Jackson Smith.Survivors include her daughters, Rebecca Williamson (Harold) of Altoona, Esther Wilson of Rainbow City and Deborah Galloway (David) of Oneonta; grandchildren, Keith Williamson (Theresa) of McClarty, Kenneth Williamson of Altoona, Kevin Williamson (Tracy) of Alabaster, Steven Galloway, Kathy Lacks (Mark) and Beth Bryson (Shane), all of Oneonta, and Mandy Cornelius (Mitchell) of Trussville; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ray Jackson (Nancy) of Oneonta, Leon Jackson (Belvajean) of Opelika and Jerry Jackson (Marie) of Susan Moore; sisters, Dorothy Garrard of Arab and Velma Harvey (Bob) of Oneonta.Visitation will be held at Lemley Funeral Home tonight from 5:30 until 8 p.m. and she will lie in state at Robin Hill Missionary Baptist Church from 10 a.m. until service time. Stanley Jones and Larry Smith will be officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Pallbearers will be Keith, Kenneth and Kevin Williamson, Steven Galloway, Mark Lacks, Shane Bryson, Mitchell Cornelius and Dylan Lacks. Lemley Funeral Home & Crematory is directing.
