DORIS KING MERRITT ISLAND Doris Dixon King, 73, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2006, at Brevard Hospice Care Center. Mrs. King was born in Wash ington, DC. She was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran during the Korean Conflict. She retired from Greyhound Bus Lines, and was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Church. She is survived by her son, Randy and daughter-in-law, Janet King; grandchildren, Brian and Jeff; brother, Richard H. Dixon; longtime friend, Mitchell Porter; and numerous nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, Janu ary 16th, at Wylie Baxley Merrit Island Funeral Home. Services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, January 17th, in the funeral home chapel.
