Doris Cormier, born in 1931, spouse of Alderice J. Cormier, son of Adolf and Emile, father of Lloyd, Beth, Roberta and Norma, died on December 29, 2010 at 79 years old.
Doris Cormier, 79, of Waltham, died peacefully early Wednesday morning, Dec. 29, 2010, at her home. Born Nov. 20, 1931, in Waltham, daughter of the late Adolf and Emile (Cormier) LeBlanc, she was born, raised and educated in Waltham where she had been a lifelong resident. Mrs. Cormier had been employed in food services at Bentley College in Waltham, until her retirement. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Alderice J. Cormier. Mrs. Cormier is survived by her loving children, Lloyd Cormier and his wife, Beth, of Marlborough, Irene Parrella of Lincoln, Norma Foti and her partner, Peter A. Viteritti, of Worcester, Denise Taranto and her husband, Robert, of Waltham, Michael Cormier of Needham, Diane Brossi and her husband, Ronnie, of Medway, Elaine Haak and her husband, David, of Millbury, and George Cormier and his wife, Lisa, of Gardner. She is also survived by her 19 cherished grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; in addition to many sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was the mother-in-law of the late Fred Parrella. Funeral services in celebration of Doriss Life were held Friday, Dec. 31, in the Chapel of Brasco and Sons Memorial, 773 Moody St., Waltham. Interment followed in Mount Feake Cemetery in Waltham.
