THOMSON, Ga. - Mrs. Doris Banks Miller of Thomson, GA passed away on Saturday January 15, 2010 at University Hospital. She born and raised in Lincolnton, GA. She lived in Brooklyn, NY for 52 years and return to Thomson, GA in 2008. Her funeral services will be held Saturday, January 22, 2010 at 2:00 pm at First Mt Carmel Church in Appling, GA with Pastor Rosce Perry, officiating. She leaves to mourn her passing, a sister, Margaree Sims of Evans, GA; a brother, Murray Banks of Washington, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews including Gary Blackwell, a nephew that was like a son to her.
