Dora Belle (Besley) Age 82, of RR Van Etten, NY, passed onto her Lord, very unexpectedly at Robert Packer Hospital Sayre, on Monday, November 4, 2002. Dora was greatly loved and will be missed greatly by her surviving daughter, Helen (Larry) McNeal of Waverly; son, Herman C. (Judith) Brown of Horseheads, NY, five grandchildren, Laurie (Eric) Jacobs of Jacksonville, FL, David McNeal of Horseheads, Brenda Guild of Walworth, NY, Michelle Ballings and Herman C. Brown III of Horseheads; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary (Dennis) Zimmer of Sayre, Lillis Wood of Horseheads and Evelyn (Lyle) Gilette of Waverly; brothers and sister-in-law, Addison (Clara) Brown of Van Etten, Thelma Pamyla of Florida and Charles and Beatrice Brown of Hornell, NY; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dora was predeceased by her loving husband, Herman C. (Sunny) Brown in 1983; three infant sons; mother, Maybelle Besley in 1986; father, Beaman Besley; and brothers and sister-in-law, Ersle (Grace) Brown and Percy Wood. Friends and family may call Thursday, Nov. t from 7-9 p.m. and Friday Nov. 8 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Blauvelt Funeral Home, 445 Waverly St. Waverly. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Father Matthews of Grace Episcopal Church officiating. Burial will be in Hicks Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dora's name will be made to Grace Episcopal Church, 439 Park Ave., Waverly, NY 14892.
