Donna Sue Wilson, 69, died Wednesday, Feb. 13, at her residence after a long illness. Mrs. Wilson was born on Nov. 10, 1938, to the late Jake and Blanche Ferguson in Jackson County, Ind. She was a member of the Life United Pentecostal Church where she taught Sunday school, played the keyboard and was the secretary. She was the ladies auxiliary leader for Section 1 of the Georgia District U.P.C. for over 30 years. Mrs. Wilson taught Sunday school for more than 53 years and was a prayer warrior, who prayed for her children and grandchildren all the time. She lived in Hinesville since 1977, having moved to Hinesville from Rome. She is survived by her husband, the Rev. Billy J. Wilson of Hinesville; sons, Dennis Wilson of Rome and Billy J. Wilson Jr. of Ludowici; daughter, Crissie J. Warren of Rome; brothers, Jim Ferguson and Bill Ferguson; sisters, Charlene Roberts, Linda Horton, Janet McKinney, Marlene Charles and Jean Gebby, all of Browns Town, Ind.; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Friday at the Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Life United Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Tommy Crutchfield, Daniel Berry and H.E. Wheatly officiating. Burial will follow in the Hinesville Cemetery, Pallbearers are David Midgorden, Steve NG, Jimmie Rowe, Thomas Desbiens, Logan Crutchfield, Niles Peden and Chris Parks. Remembrances should be made to Life United Pentecostal Church. Thomas L. Carter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
