->WINTHROP -- Donna Marie Tanguay Brennan, 43, died unexpectedly Friday, Oct. 3, 2008.She was born in Lewiston on Oct. 10, 1964, the daughter of Gerard and Yvonne (Trembley) Tanguay. She attended Lewiston schools and was an employee at L.L. Bean for 15 years. She was enrolled this semester as a freshman in the University of Maine nursing program.Donna was the greatest loving mother, who loved her children more than anything in the world, and she was dearly loved by all who knew her. One of her keen interests in life was sites of the space program, where they spent most of their time. She loved to travel with her loving husband, John; and through her beautiful brown eyes, she was able to experience the Yucatan Peninsula, where they saw the Mayan pyramids. They honeymooned in Cancun, swam with the dolphins at the Isla de Mujeres (the Island of Women), and rode on horseback through the shallows of the Caribbean waters. They also traveled to New Orleans and Galveston, and throughout Florida, from the Keys to Tallahassee, and called Daytona their second home. She loved NASCAR. They traveled to many race events, including Talladega; Dover, Del.; the Daytona 500; Homestead Miami; the Poconos; Loudon, N.H.; Charlotte, N.C.; and many others up and down the Eastern Seaboard. One of her greatest moments was when she met this year's Daytona 500 winner, Ryan Newman. She was his greatest fan.Donna and John lived their lives as though they were always on their honeymoon. They loved camping and exploring the great outdoors, just as her father did, and traveled to places such as Baxter State Park, Moosehead Lake, Rangeley and the White Mountains in New Hampshire. She recently took a road trip with parts of her family to Gloucester, Mass., where she woke up to a parade of massive schooner ships. They also enjoyed going for motorcycle rides throughout New England. She was very beautiful, creative and smart, and family meant everything to her. There are not enough words to express the beautiful person she was.She will be sadly missed by her husband, John Brennan, of Winthrop, son of Rayma Nason and Frank Brennan, of Winthrop; her children, whom she loved dearly, Kyle and Cody Bernard, of Greene, Suzanna and Joey Brennan, of Winthrop and Brittany Howe, of Livermore; her two grandsons, Evan and Trevor; her mother, Yvonne Tanguay, of Monmouth; her siblings, Dodie Williams and her daughter, Baby Michelle, of Lewiston, Gerard Tanguay Jr., of Livermore, Linda Gastonguay, of Freeport, Michelle Casey, of Buckfield, Candy Greenwald, of Monmouth, Jennifer Tanguay, of South China, and Danielle and Erika Gastonguay, of Leeds; her precious dog, Snowy, who was her little sidekick; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
