DONNA LYNN ORR Donna Orr passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 54 in the Palliative Care Unit at St. Paul's Hospital on Monday, December 4, 2006. Donna is lovingly remembered by her husband Kent Lee; step-son Justin; her mother Lois; brothers, Jim and Terry (Mary) of Saskatoon; nieces Cara (Trevor) Winacott, Brennan, Jana (Andrew Stoll); nephews, Donny and David; and great nephew Ty Winacott. She was predeceased by her father Don, and grandparents Velma and Jim Turner, and WIlliam and Pearl Orr. Donna was born on December 18, 1951 in Kipling, SK. She received her schooling in Prince Albert and Saskatoon and graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1972. Donna was employed at Air Canada for 28 years before retiring in 2001. She had many interests including reading, traveling and instructing ballroom dancing with Kent for the U of S Ballroom Dance Club. Most of all Donna enjoyed her family and friends. She was a truly devoted and loving wife, stepmother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Her dedication to family and friends has left a profound impact on us all. Donna always displayed a remarkably courageous and positive attitude during her two and half year illness and was an inspiration to everyone who encountered her on that journey. We will miss her dearly. Funeral service to be held at the Saskatoon Funeral Home (4th Avenue & 25th Street) on Friday, December 8 at 1:00 p.m. The family wishes to thank all the nurses, doctors and staff at the Saskatoon Cancer Clinic and the Palliative Care Unit who were so thoughtful and caring during our family's time with them.
