Donna JacksonDecember 31, 1947 - October 14, 2012It is with sadness that the family announces that the death of Donna Jackson occurred at St. Paul's Hospital on October 14th, 2012. Donna is survived by her loving partner Fred Prokuski, daughter Venessa Fehr (Ed) and grandson Brendon, as well brothers Dave Hynne and Jim (Wanda) Hynne. She was predeceased by her mother Bernice Venance, father Ervin Hynne and son Allan Payne. Donna was born in Wilkie, SK and grew up in Saskatoon. She worked for a number of years at City Hospital and was also a personal care giver. Donna enjoyed both flower and vegetable gardening and loved her pool on the hot summer days. She enjoyed her last trip to Montana with her two favourite men, her partner Fred and grandson Brendon. She enjoyed the time she could spend with family and friends and special pet dog Frankie. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the wonderful care givers of St. Paul's Palliative Care Unit and Palliative Home Care. A Visitation for family and friends will take place at Saskatoon Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 16th, 2012 between the hours of 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. A Memorial Reception will be held at the W.A.Edwards Family Centre on Wednesday, October 17th, 2012 between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. For those so wishing, memorial donations may be made to the SPCA.
