WHITE Donna Elaine (nee Howard) Passed away suddenly on April 26, 2008 at the age of 71. She was born in Winnipeg on September 24, 1936 and continued to move westward until finally settling in Delta. She was a longtime member of the Royal Canadian Legion after proudly serving in the forces in her younger years. She was a writer for the local Mackenzie newspaper and the Surrey Messenger. She was also a freelance writer for the Vancouver Sun. Donna is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, David, her son, Ken (Leota), her son, Mitch (Andrea), her daughter, Debbie, her daughter, Kristina (Clint), and her son Steve (Patricia), 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Len and sister, Marilyn (Fred). She will also be missed by her brother and sister-in-laws, Leslie (Linda), Jack (Vicki), and Sheila as well as many loving, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Services will be held at the Church of Latter-day Saints at 6720-126th Street on Saturday, May 3 at 3:00pm. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
