GORA, Donna (Brown) - At the Welland County General Hospital on Thursday, December 4, 2008 in her 75th year. Beloved wife of Stan Gora. Dear mother of Cheryl Mauro, Kevin (Colleen) and Karen Therrien. Dear grandmother of Vince, Donna, Sarah, Mikayla, Renee and Denise. She is also survived by her brother Ernest (Donna) and sister Verla (Carl). Donna was predeceased by her parents Fred and Lucy Brown. Donna was the sun for her family that generated an almost perpetual season of warm spring days. She was a wife whose companionship and unrequited loved surpassed by far all promises made fifty-five years ago. She was a mother who, by never ending love and example, taught her children what a devoted parent should be. She was a grandmother who provided countless memories of holidays and sleep-overs for her grandchildren to remember. With her passing, this earth has been dimmed by the departure of her shining spirit, whose light will now brighten God's Heaven. She was truly the gentle wind beneath our wings. Cremation has taken place. A private interment service will follow at a later date. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
