<!-- FH = Trahan Family Funeral Home -->Donald H. WilliamsOctober 13, 1932 November 3, 2012Pensacola native Don Williams went to meet his Lord after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. Don retired as a radar technician with the Federal Aviation Administration after 31 years of service in many states. He and Lois returned to Pensacola in 1989. During his years in Pensacola he was a lay minister of music in several local churches. He was co-founder of the Grand Old Gospel Sing held monthly at East Brent Baptist Church and led music once a month at the Waterfront Rescue Mission.He was preceded in death by his parents Claude & Frances Williams. Survivors include: his wife, Lois; son, James of Baltimore, MD; daughters, Rebecca and Diana of Pensacola; sisters, Faye Wilson of Ashville, NC and Mary Alice Weldy of Huntsville, AL; and various cousins from around the Pensacola area.Trahan Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.The family will receive friends from 11:00a.m. to 12 noon on November 13, 2012 at East Brent Baptist Church, 4801 North Davis Hwy. The memorial service will follow at 12 noon followed by committal ceremony at Barrancas National Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the McGuire State Missions Offering through East Brent Baptist Church or to Covenant Hospice.Express your condolences in our guestbook at pnj.com/obits
