Donald 'Donnie' Strickland - Claxton -Donald (Donnie) Strickland, 67, passed away November 19, 2006 at Glenvue Nursing Home. The Evans County native was a member of the Claxton First United Methodist Church. He retired from Globe Communications, Inc., after 36 years as a cable splicer. He was a graduate of Claxton High School. Survivors: his step-mother, Marcella Strickland of Claxton; one sister, Betty Burt of Tucson, Arizona; and several nieces and nephews.
