DONALD MURRAY MCLAREN It is with love and honor that the family of Don McLaren announce his passing on September 17th, 2011 after a courageous battle against liver disease. He is free from his pain and suffering to now be with his love, Donna, his wife and companion of 28 years. Don was born on September 20th, 1950 in Maidstone, SK where he graduated from Maidstone High school. Don moved to Saskatoon and worked at Western Business Machines for over 30 years. Don had two daughters, Amber and Nicole from his first marriage. He later married his soul mate, Donna McLaren (Vandale) and welcomed to his life two step sons, Curtis and Colin. Don is also survived by nine grandchildren; his siblings, Mable Wruth, Elk Point, AB; Isabel Howell, Saskatoon, SK; Carol Allan, Saskatoon, SK; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife, Donna; his parents, Murray and Margaret; three nephews; and one niece. Don was a huge Montreal Canadiens and Roughrider fan, as was evident in his Man Cave. Don will be greatly missed for his sense of humour. A celebration of Don's life will be held on Saturday, September 24th, at 2:00 p.m. at Windsor Chapel (Windsor St. and 8th Ave. N.).
