McKENZIE, Donald Thomas. Age seventy, of Pierrefonds, PQ, died after a brief illness on Friday, August 15, 2003 in Kingston, ON. Born in Saskatoon, Don grew up in Riversdale and attended Bedford Road Collegiate. As a young man he played for the Saskatoon Hilltops. After high school Don joined the R.C.A.F., serving at various points in Canada. He then joined Canadian Marconi where he was employed until retiring a few years ago. While at Marconi, Don traveled extensively throughout the world. Surviving are his mother, Louise Esson Walker of Saskatoon; his children from his first marriage, David, Heather, Brian and their respective children; his beloved wife Sunee and their two children, Melissa and Christopher. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until noon followed by a memorial service held at Alfred Dallaire, 14370 Pierrefonds Blvd. Donations to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
