HARRIS, Donald Victor David At his residence in Osgoode after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Eileen. Loving father of Susan Hodgins and Christine Byrne (Phil). Special Papa to Jennifer, Jessica (Andrew) and Bradley Harris, Alex and Christopher Byrne, all of Osgoode. Also survived by his sister Jeannette Wagner and brother Richard (Joyce) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents George Harris and Mary Bright and 5 brothers. Don spent 25 years in the Royal Canadian Navy and 10 years with C.I.D.A., retiring in 1986. He was a proud Life member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Friends may call at the Rideau Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 1610 Roger Stevens Dr., Kars (East of Hwy 416) on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday at 2 pm. followed by a reception at St. James United Church, Osgoode.
