Mr. Donald George Davison MacKenzie October 16, 1932 - September 14, 2008 - MACKENZIE, Donald George Davison (born October 16, 1932) passed away on September 14, 2008 in Calgary at the age of 75 years. Donald will be lovingly remembered by his children Robert (Kathie) and Karen; his grandchildren Sherissa, Jordan, Nick, Scott & Chazz. He is also survived and remembered by his brothers: Jack (Pat) and Gerry (Ann); his sisters, Rosemary (Jack) Johnsen and Shirley Mintz and close friends Alf and Marion Davison. He was predeceased by his wife of 41 years, Arvilla (nee: Herder) in March of 1999. Donald retired from TransAlta Utilities in 1991 after 34 years. A Memorial Service to celebrate Donald’s life will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home on Monday, September 22, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society can be made in Donald’s name.
