Donald E. Clark 1929-2013 The death of Donald Edwards Clark of Stickney occurred on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born in Muniac on January 3, 1929 he was the son of the late James and Lillian (Stephenson) Clark. He was also predeceased by his siblings, Roy, Dorothy, Ian and Marjorie. Donald is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Joyce (Nee Stright); 3 children, Dawn Chase (Keith), Nicola Poirier (Darren) and James Clark (Crystal); 7 grandchildren, Akayla, Ryan, Taylor, Nicholas, Timothy, Cheltsey and Joshua; brothers and sisters in law, Kermath Stright (Gertrude), Sheldon Stright (Doreen), Merle Ricker and Natalie Clark and several nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Friday, February 15, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 37, Florencevile will hold at tribute service at 6:45 pm. A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 2:00 pm from Faith Memorial United Church with Rev Elaine Strawbridge officiating. Interment will be in the Melville United Cemetery at a later date.
