DAVIS _ Donald Leslie February 6, 1927 - November 22, 2007 Overlooking the city he loved, Don passed away peacefully at Rosedale Hospice on November 22, 2007, a dearly loved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Surviving are six sisters and their husbands, Jean (Joe) Thomas, Marion (Ron) Nicholls, Donna (Art) Crawford, Sheila (Frank) Holden, Elaine (Ken) Schieve and Marge (John) Leeder, who will miss him immensely. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews, who will cherish his memory. He was predeceased by his parents, Murray and Grace, sister Helen (Ken) Geddes, brother Gordon, niece Nancy Geddes, nephew Glen Nicholls and great-niece Andria Mains. Don was a proud Calgarian, and lived here most of his life. He loved life and he lived it! Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at Crescent Heights Baptist Church, 1212 - 1 Street N.W., on Tuesday, November 27, at 1:30 p.m. with Pastors Stan Haugen and Cornel Van Eyk officiating. Donations to Rosedale Hospice, 920 - 7A Street N.W., Calgary, Alta. T2M 3J3, or to the charity of the donor's choice, would be greatly appreciated.
