Obituary of Donald Bartlett

BARTLETT _~ Donald Edward Bartlett passed away peacefully in his Saskatoon home after a courageous battle with cancer. Don was born in Rosetown on November 1, 1935. Don married Lovella Hamblin on April 1, 1961 and together they had three children. Don spent his time working in the restaurants and grocery store they owned over the years and truly enjoyed working with the public. Don's other joys were hunting, fishing and camping with his family and friends. Don's home was always a center for people to gather socially and play a game of darts or cards. Don is survived by his wife Lovella; daughter Patty (Murray) Berthold of Saskatoon, SK; sons Steve (Rhonda) Bartlett of Unity, SK and Blair (Shelley) Bartlett of Medicine Hat, AB.; grandchildren Ronald, Ashley, Amy, Bailey, Keely, Mitch and Lexi; as well as numerous nieces nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his mother and father Grace and Nelson, sister and brother-in-law Mary and Bys Cross and brother Paul. A casual gathering for the Celebration of his Life will be held at the Lions Hall in Alsask, SK Tuesday, December 9, 2003 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to Saskatoon Cancer Center or Huntingtons Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to SASKATOON FUNERAL HOME.
