MOUNDVILLE Don Carter, age 56, of Moundville, died October 30, 2013, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 9, 2013, at Bass Tabernacle CME Church in Akron with Rev. Marvin D. Cherry officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Evans Cemetery in Sawyerville with Washington & Paige Mortuary of Greensboro directing. Visitation will be today from 12 noon to 7 p.m. at the mortuary. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church.
