MARY CLARA MOSON SMITH Died on Friday, November 22, 2002 at her home in Delray Beach, Florida. Mrs. Smith who was 90 years old, suffered from a stroke for the past year and a half. She and her husband, the late John J. Smith, who preceded her in death in August 2002, were married for 66 years. Mr. and Mrs. Smith were longtime residents of Delray Beach, FL and Watch Hill, RI. Mrs. Smith was an avid gardener and an accomplished cook. Her husband served on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of Johnson & Johnson Corporation for many years. They were members of the Gulfstream Club and the Little Club in Florida and the Misquamicut Club and the Watch Hill Yacht Club. Mrs. Smith was the loving and devoted mother of two children; Nancy Smith Lesher of North Stamford, CT and Robert John Smith of Stuart, FL. She is also survived by three loving grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Clare's Church in Misquamicut, RI on Tuesday, November 26, 2002 at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Riverbend Cemetery in Westerly, RI.
