EVANS, Ga. - Mrs. Dicy Elizabeth Adams, age 86, entered into rest Thursday, August 4, 2005 at Doctors Hospital. Mrs. Adams was the beloved wife of the late Mr. Raymond Adams. She was from Fancy Farm, Ky., and had lived most of her life in Cairo, Ill. Funeral Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 8, 2005 at St. Patrick's Church, Cairo, Ill., with Monsignor Bill McGhee celebrant. Committal services are to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Villa Ridge, Ill. Survivors include one son, Charles Adams of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; two daughters, Joyce Rolwing and her husband, John, of Evans, and June Fredlund and her husband, Oke, of Chicago, Ill.; one sister, Mary Cecilia Marquardt of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be held at Barket Funeral Home, Cairo, Ill., Monday August 8, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. and afterwards the family will receive friends until 10:30 a.m. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to, Portsbridge Hospice, 1365 Interstate Parkway, Augusta, GA 30909.
