Dianne V. Smith ((Branon) (nee Holst) Crown Point Dianne V. Smith (Branon) (nee Holst), age 68, of Crown Point, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2004 at her home. She is survived by her seven children: Doug Branon of Lake Village, IN, Steve (Sharon) Branon of Texas, Teresa Branon (John Hunley) of Cedar Lake, Valerie Branon of Crown Point, Kimberly (H. Lynn) Gray of Lowell, Lisa Branon of Cedar Lake and Marc (Chris) Branon of Indianapolis; 10 grandchildren: Sarah, Brett, Cassie, Brittany, Rachel, Jessica, Scott, Samantha, Rena and Ethan; one great-grandchild Hunter; and special companion Bill Anderson of Cedar Lake. She was preceded in death by parents Melvin and Mildred Holst and granddaughter Tina Dreiling. Friends may call at the Geisen Funeral Home, 109 N. East St., Crown Point, Indiana, on Monday, August 9, 2004 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at 4:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church in Dysart, Iowa, with Pastor Sara Akre officiating. Visitation on Tuesday will be at the Zion Lutheran Church in Dysart, Iowa from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Interment will be at the Dysart Cemetery in Dysart, Iowa. Dianne was a graduate of Dysart High School in 1948. She was a local nurse in Lake County, Indiana for many years and was an avid antique dealer. Dianne was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #2437 of Lowell.
