Obituary of Dianne-S. Brown


AVERA, Ga. - Mrs. Dianne "DiDi" S. Brown, beloved wife of 46 years to Paul Brown and daughter of the late F.O. and Dorothy Holton Saunders, entered into rest Saturday, April 26, 2008. Mrs. Brown passed away at her home surrounded by her loving husband, her children, her sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 28, 2008, at 4:00 P.M. at Waldens United Methodist Church with Revs. Tom Edwards, Dewey Henderson, and Marvin Goodman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at their home, 13127 Clarks Mill Road, Avera, Ga. Mrs. Brown was a member of Waldens United Methodist Church. She is survived by children, Mark Patrick (Nicole) Brown and Michael Paul (Ashley) Brown; brother, F.O. "Sonny" (Marty) Saunders, Wayne (Maxine) Saunders; sisters, Brenda (Jerry) Josey, Nancy (Tom) Austin, Kathy (Wayne) Josey, and Gwenn (Roy) Pope; grandchildren, Ashleigh Brown, Autumn Brown, Beau Brown, Sophie Brown, Ella Brown, and Baby Girl Brown. Pallbearers will be Hubie Saunders, Lance Poole, Brad Poole, Andrew Austin, David Josey, Phillip Josey, William Richards, and Mike McGahee. Memorials may be made to Waldens United Methodist Church, 1760 Walden Church Road, Avera, Ga. 30803. James Funeral Home, Wrens, GA.
