Dianne S. Owens, 51, of 355 North Bates Road, went home to be with the Lord on December 1, 2006.A native of Greenville County, daughter of Lois Pittman Scruggs of Taylors, and the late Thomas Scruggs, she was a former employee of North Greenville University and a member of Redeemed Baptist Church.Surviving in addition to her mother, are her husband, Roger Owens of Greer; and a son, Jim Owens of Boise, Idaho.Mrs. Owens was predeceased by a sister, Sharon Scruggs.Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, at Highland Baptist Church conducted by the Rev.
