Obituary of Diane-Marie Smith


Doiron, Diane Marie Smith A teacher's aide at Northside Elementary School in Denham Springs, she died at 1:30 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 9, 2005, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 53 and a resident of Denham Springs. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 11. Visiting at the funeral home from 8 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12. Mass of Christian Burial at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Denham Springs, at 11 a.m. Wednesday, celebrated by the Rev. Alex Sheldon. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Park, Denham Springs. She is survived by her husband, Preston Milton Doiron Jr., Denham Springs; mother, Lydia H. Smith, Denham Springs; daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia Anne and James Pugh; Baton Rouge; son and daughter-in-law, William Cole and Karmen Lane Doiron, Denham Springs; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lisa and Mike Snedigar, Denham Springs, and Carol and Michael Rankin, Baton Rouge; a brother, Barry M. Smith, Watson; and three grandchildren, Jacob Kross, Joseph Kash Doiron and William J. Pugh. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy M. Smith. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Published in The Advocate on 1/10/2005.
